The workshop will throw light on the basic techniques and hands-on learning for painting in Gouache medium. The participants will explore the unique properties of Gouache, color mixing, creating tones & textures and brush handling methods. The instructor will demonstrate on painting a landscape based on the above principles and later the participants will be guided to paint a landscape in Gouache.
All participants will receive high quality products consist of gouache, paper, and painting tools to bring back after the workshop.
Priya has been an active member of Urban Sketchers Singapore since 2013. Over the time, many of her artworks have been collected by art collectors. She works on a variety of art commissions and has conducted workshops for National Gallery of Singapore, National Museum of Singapore, Asian Civilisation museum and public libraries. Sketching on location and trying to capture the charm of the landscapes has become an obsession for the artist since she started painting extensively. In her art journey, Priya hopes to extract the deep meaning of life around her and express it in her most sincere way.
